We build open-source AI tools for undergraduate biology and study how students and instructors actually use them.
Our work runs on two tracks: building generative AI tools that support active learning, and studying what actually happens when those tools land in real classrooms. We also teach experimental design, statistics, and data science — the craft of turning biological questions into rigorous answers. Explore the blog for recent writing, or get in touch about a workshop, collaboration, or help setting up one of the tools in your course.
